her hair was flat when she woke up. I fluffed it with a dot of mousse. That's it. Headband. Out the door.

Team Zahara!

I still feel weird having Tog's hair "out." But boy do I love walking out of the house without wrestling with her hair.

She’s too cute!!! I love how the beauty of her hair is being reinforced EARLY in her childhood. 2 thumbs up to you, Aliya!!!

I don’t see the problem with TOG’s hair being out as long as it’s neat and clean. Plus, if she’s liking the fuss-free new do isn’t it a win-win situation?
I just might try Kinky Curly. The visual endorsement was enough to get me to look at their website for UK retailers, but alas there isn’t one in London. Another reason to add to an already long list of reasons why I miss New York.

still adorable! i had the same situation w/my daughter: i always loved her curls out when she was younger. had no idea it was an issue with anyone. then one day i parted it and put it in three little rubber bands, and relatives on my husband’s side were like “*gasp* her hair is done. so cute!” Me: *blank stare* @ what they were thinking the past 18 mo’s.

I love how in the last pictures she’s looking up at the camera, like “Mommy why are you taking all of these pictures of me and my hair?”
